New dog listed for rescue at the Saving and Rehoming Strays - Bambi

Bambi is described as a golden Mixed. Meet Bambi – A Little Lady with a Big Heart Date of Birth: 01 January 2015 Breed: Mixed Size: Small Location: Ayrshire, Scotland Health: Fully vaccinated, flea/worm treated, pet passport, BC tested (UK) Spay Status: Spayed Bambi is the kind of dog that quietly steals your heart. Originally adopted in 2016 after arriving from overseas, Bambi lived a peaceful life until changes in her adoptive home meant she could no longer be cared for. Sadly, she returned to us in poor condition, but after a full vet check, blood tests, and a much-needed dental (including some extractions), Bambi is now feeling so much better – and she’s ready to start her next chapter. At 10 years old, Bambi is calm, gentle, and a total cuddle sponge. She doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety, but she absolutely thrives on companionship and would love a home where someone is around most of the time. She’s not needy – she just adores love and will happily curl up beside you for as long as you let her. This little gem is: Fully housetrained Walks beautifully on the lead Crate trained Travels well in the car Excellent with other dogs while out and about We’re looking for a child-free, dog-free home so Bambi can truly be the centre of someone’s world. She deserves nothing less after everything she’s been through. She may be small, but Bambi has so much love to give. All she needs now is a quiet, caring home and someone to finally make her feel safe and cherished, every single day. Ready to Adopt? If you can offer Bambi the warm and loving forever home she so deserves, please visit www.savingandrehomingstrays.org and complete an adoption application form. A virtual home check and £500 adoption donation will apply. Let Bambi’s golden years be filled with love, comfort, and the happiness she’s waited so patiently for.

New dog listed for rescue at the Saving and Rehoming Strays - Daisy

Daisy is described as a mixed mixed. Meet Daisy & Poppy – Sweet Sisters Searching for Their Forever Homes Date of Birth: 10 March 2025 Breed: Mixed Size: Medium (when fully grown) Location: Ayrshire, Scotland Health: Fully vaccinated, flea/worm treated, pet passport, BC tested (UK) Spay Status: Not yet spayed – must be completed under adoption contract when old enough Daisy and Poppy are two beautiful sisters who’ve overcome a rough start to life and are now ready to blossom in loving homes. Found as tiny puppies on the street, covered in ticks and desperately unwell, they were rushed to a vet for urgent care. Thanks to dedicated treatment and lots of love, they’ve made a full recovery and are now fit, healthy, and full of joy. Now safe in our rescue in Ayrshire, these girls have shown us just how affectionate and friendly they truly are. They adore cuddles and attention, and get along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. They have gentle natures and would be a great fit for many types of homes – including those with children or other friendly dogs. Although they haven’t been tested with cats, their young age means that with proper introductions and a dog-savvy cat, it’s likely they could live alongside feline friends too. A Few Things to Know: Daisy and Poppy have never lived in a home before, so their adopters will need to be patient and committed to helping them learn. They’re crate trained and clean, so housetraining is expected to come quickly. Basic training, including lead work and house manners, will be needed – but they’re smart and eager to please! What They Need: A loving, safe home (separately) Continued guidance, training, and socialisation A secure garden would be ideal Lots of cuddles, care, and reassurance Ready to Adopt? If you can offer Daisy or Poppy the loving forever home they deserve, please visit www.savingandrehomingstrays.org and complete an adoption application form. A virtual home check and £500 adoption donation will apply. These girls are ready for the next chapter – could it be with you?

New dog listed for rescue at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home - Cooper

New dog listed for rescue at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home - Cooper

Cooper is described as a Hound Cross. Can live with... Teenagers More about Cooper Cooper is looking for an experienced, active owner who have owned hound breeds before and understand their traits. He will need to be kept company all day to begin with and he will benefit going along to training classes to continue working on basic manners. Cooper may be able to live with teenagers but needs to be the only pet. Cooper is a super friendly, cheeky and lovable goof ball who brings joy to everyone he meets. He can be stubborn when it comes to his training, so he requires an incredibly patient owner who have had experience with hounds before. He is a big, boisterous boy who forgets his size and he can resort to jumping up and grabbing at you if his needs aren’t met so requires plenty of mental and physical stimulation, so he doesn’t become bored or frustrated. He loves using his nose and sniffs out every interesting smell that comes by him so would thoroughly enjoy an activity like scent work or man trailing. Cooper loves his food in all forms, from doggy biscuits to fruit and veg which will be a brilliant motivator when continuing his training. Cooper has made a load of doggy friends here; he loves playing with them but he doesn’t always realize when his friends have had enough, and he can be persistent so would be better suited as an only pet so his owner can focus on him. Cooper has received some medical treatment whilst with us. More information will be provided with successful applicants.
