New dog listed for rescue at the Saving and Rehoming Strays - Daisy
Daisy is described as a mixed mixed. Meet Daisy & Poppy – Sweet Sisters Searching for Their Forever Homes Date of Birth: 10 March 2025 Breed: Mixed Size: Medium (when fully grown) Location: Ayrshire, Scotland Health: Fully vaccinated, flea/worm treated, pet passport, BC tested (UK) Spay Status: Not yet spayed – must be completed under adoption contract when old enough Daisy and Poppy are two beautiful sisters who’ve overcome a rough start to life and are now ready to blossom in loving homes. Found as tiny puppies on the street, covered in ticks and desperately unwell, they were rushed to a vet for urgent care. Thanks to dedicated treatment and lots of love, they’ve made a full recovery and are now fit, healthy, and full of joy. Now safe in our rescue in Ayrshire, these girls have shown us just how affectionate and friendly they truly are. They adore cuddles and attention, and get along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. They have gentle natures and would be a great fit for many types of homes – including those with children or other friendly dogs. Although they haven’t been tested with cats, their young age means that with proper introductions and a dog-savvy cat, it’s likely they could live alongside feline friends too. A Few Things to Know: Daisy and Poppy have never lived in a home before, so their adopters will need to be patient and committed to helping them learn. They’re crate trained and clean, so housetraining is expected to come quickly. Basic training, including lead work and house manners, will be needed – but they’re smart and eager to please! What They Need: A loving, safe home (separately) Continued guidance, training, and socialisation A secure garden would be ideal Lots of cuddles, care, and reassurance Ready to Adopt? If you can offer Daisy or Poppy the loving forever home they deserve, please visit www.savingandrehomingstrays.org and complete an adoption application form. New cat listed for rescue at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home - Leo
Leo is described as a Domestic Short Hair. Can live with... Cats Children More about Leo Leo is looking for an owner who have had cats before to help build his confidence whilst he settles in. He may be able to live with cat savvy older children and possibly another cat. Leo can be a shy boy when he is in an unfamiliar place but, with a bit of reassurance, is quick to come around and show his affectionate side. He is an indoor cat and loves human company so would hugely benefit from having a family that can keep him company at home for most of the day. He is a fairly chilled out character and can usually be found relaxing or using his scratching post. If Leo was to live with another cat, it will need to be one that has a similar personality to him. During his stay with us, our vet has discovered that Leo has a heart murmur. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.

Asher is described as a Domestic Short Hair. Can live with... Cats More about Asher Asher has now been matched to several applicants so we are no longer accepting new interest for him. Asher is looking for an experienced cat owner who have had nervous cats before. He requires an adult only home but may be able to live with another cat. Asher is a shy boy who needs an understanding owner who will help him understand that people aren’t so scary. His new owner will have to be patient with him and not be too hands on with him to start with, especially whilst he settles in. For this reason, he would not be suitable to live in home where there are children, including visiting children. Due to his nervous nature, Asher will be happy remaining as an indoor cat. He seems to enjoy the company of other cats within our cattery so may benefit from living with a confident cat.
