To apply for Jimmy & Isla please click HERE

2yr old Isla and Jimmy are really close and get on well so we would like them to be rehomed together. They are both very friendly and have not lived in a house before so will need some time to become habituated to this new environment, they will also need help with toilet training.

Jimmy & Isla were unsettled in the kennels so are currently staying in a foster home where they are getting on really well.

They both walk well on lead and don’t need to walk for miles every day. Greyhounds just need two shorter walks or a couple of quick sprints in a secure area throughout the day and they will happily spend the rest of the day relaxing!

Coronavirus Information for Customers and Supporters of Borders Pet Rescue

We are currently closed to the public in line with the government’s guidelines regarding Covid-19 and so will not be rehoming any animals until it is safe to do so.

Pal is a nice little 5yr old boy who needs to be an only pet and needs a home without children but will make a great companion for someone.

Pal has already had at least 3 homes before coming into us so his next home needs to be his forever home. Pal’s basic training is quite good and he has good recall. He loves treats and tennis balls so if you have either of these he’ll be your “pal”!

Pal is looking for a home with an experienced owner where he can get some more training and where he will get the constructive exercise he wants and needs.

Scott Scott

A Male Border Collie who is age 3 years

Not Good With Children Good With Other Pets

Contact Shelter Adoption Form

Shelter Location: Craigsford Earlston Scottish Borders TD4 6DJ

*Please note that due to the current Covid-19 situation we are only able to rehome animals locally to us*

Scott has only just arrived so we will not be inviting anyone to meet him for at least a week. We already have several applications for Scott so are not accepting any new applications for him just now. Should this change we will update his profile.

Scott is a 3yr old Collie who would be best suited to a home with no other dogs or young children. Scott is very thin at the moment due to having a sore throat in his previous home – he will be getting seen by our vet but we do not believe this will be an ongoing concern.

We are told that Scott loved the cat in his previous home and they would often snuggle up together. We introduced Scott to another dog here at the centre and he was a bit shy initially but got on fine with him, however he was fighting with the other dog in his previous home so we think he would prefer to be the only dog in his new home.

Salem came into our care as a stray. He has not been claimed so is now looking for his forever home. As Salem was a stray we don’t know much about his history so don’t know how he would cope living with other animals or children. He seems like a friendly boy although he is quite feisty.
