Chase

Chase at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 5yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

4.5yo Chase is a wonderfully loving dog. He has been in a home environment previously. All he wants to do is be cuddled. He can be with female greyhounds, he isn’t great with small dogs or furries. He weighs approx 35kilos and is just a big bundle of fun.
Burkey

Burkey at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male blue Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Burkey is on the lookout for his forever home. He will celebrate his 4th birthday in November and hoping to do so on his forever sofa. Burkey gets on OK with other female greyhounds. For some reason he is reactive to blue greyhounds (and they say dogs are colour blind). He is a happy lad who suffers from waggy tail injury other words known as burst tail due to him wagging it so much. Does Burkey sound the boy for you ?
Barry

Barry at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Well that’s Barry been with us for 1 year on his lookout for his forever home and so far he has been unsuccessful. Let’s see if we can push to find that correct special home that he so deserves. Barry is a very loving and affectionate boy and will make the perfect boy in the correct environment.

Barry is reactive to other dogs, although it’s not every dog that he reacts to. He would need to go to a home with a family who have sighthound experience. Ideally a family who have had experience with this type of situation. Let’s hope there is a sofa out there waiting for this boy.
Rio

Rio at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Rio has settled in really well. He gives the impression that he is a hyperactive boy but this boy just wants to laze about and loves lying in the sun. He is completely spotless in his kennel and we promise you won’t be disappointed if you invite this boy into your family. If children are in the family we would advise older children as he does pull on the lead to start with before he calms down.
Jack

Jack at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 4yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

We are going to be looking for a home shortly for 4yo Jack. He has had a back leg amputation and he has been nursed back to health before looking for his forever home. He’s fully clean in the house gets on with other greyhounds and for those of you that attended our Drumpellier walk you would have met him and seen he was in his best behaviour. All in all a good boy. We have honed many a tripod and they go on to live a normal life so please don’t let this put you off offering Jack a forever home. For further details please get in contact
Dicey

Dicey at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 2yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Dicey is a friendly playful boy who is looking for his forever home. He has just turned 2yo this month. He is child friendly and partly house trained so he would fit into a home environment easily. He has still to be neutered but we are hoping this lovely boy won’t be around too long.
Rocky

Rocky at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 3yo.

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Rocky has got to be the unluckiest boy in the kennel. He has had homes lined up on 3 separate occasions only for people to change their mind at the last minute. He is great with other dogs. Fantastic with children and he’s only just turned 3yo. He’s of average size weighing approx 32 kilos. So let’s get this boy into the home that he so deserves.
Paddy

Paddy at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Paddy has been with us for just over a week now and is proving to be a lovely boy. He is excitable and pully on the lead to start with but once out calms down. Gets on great with other greyhounds. He will be coming to Drumpellier on Sunday where we will see how he reacts to other breed dogs. If anyone thinks Paddy could be for them feel free to contact us.
Bert

Bert at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Bert is another handsome boy that we have looking for his forever home. He has previously lived in a home environment. He is a little nervous until he gets to know you but after he has introduced himself he is a wonderful boy. He can’t live with small dogs but he would make a great companion for another greyhound. He loves his walks so an active family would also suit his needs.
Tiffany

Tiffany at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Tiffany is now ready to go full steam ahead and look for her forever home. She is a friendly girl that loves to jump up for her cuddles. She would suit most situations as she can either happily be left on her own or just as easily fit into a family who are around a lot.
Amy

Amy at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound who is age 6yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Amy is a lovely girl who is looking for a forever home. This 6yo girl is friendly, loving and will be very easily house trained as she is very clean in her kennel.
Sandy

Sandy at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 3yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Stunning Sandy is now ready to look for his forever home. He’s 3yo and a very happy boy who gets on with other greyhounds with no issues. He is quite keen on the local sheep in the fields when out on walks so we believe he would not be suitable to live with small animals or dogs. He is fine with children as he’s been around them (age 5 and over). If you think Dandy sounds the boy for you then get in touch.
