Chase

Chase at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 5yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

4.5yo Chase is a wonderfully loving dog. He has been in a home environment previously. All he wants to do is be cuddled. He can be with female greyhounds, he isn’t great with small dogs or furries. He weighs approx 35kilos and is just a big bundle of fun.
Bert

Bert at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Bert is another handsome boy that we have looking for his forever home. He has previously lived in a home environment. He is a little nervous until he gets to know you but after he has introduced himself he is a wonderful boy. He can’t live with small dogs but he would make a great companion for another greyhound. He loves his walks so an active family would also suit his needs.
Vic

Vic at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Vic is another long term resident that we have had at the kennel. We would really love to find him a forever home. Vic has issues that we have been working through and is now a lot better than what he was. He would need a home with experienced sighthound owners and as an only dog. Vic is tolerable around female greyhounds but on occasions can show dominance. He is reactive to small dogs but is distractible with treats. But for all his faults he has such a wonderful nature towards humans and has never once shown his reactive side in this way. Give Vic cuddles and he will be your friend for life.
Mikey

Mikey at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Distinguished Mikey is looking for his forever home. He came in last week along with Argyll and he is proving to be a gentleman. He has not been an issue with anything he has been introduced to yet.
Rita

Rita at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Hello my name is Rita and I would really like to find a sofa to call my own. I will be ready at the end of September so if you express an interest I would be gratefully appreciated
Jack

Jack at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Jack is looking for his forever home. This boy has a friendly playful nature (he loves a soft toy but don’t expect it to last long). He is great around children. Ok with mid sized to large dogs but can’t be homed with small dogs or cats. For further details or to express an interest please get in touch.
Argyll

Argyll at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

If anyone is looking for a young male, good around kids and also no issues around smaller breed dogs then look no further than Argyll. He is a wonderful boy (a little shy on initial meet up but soon forgets this).
Mac

Mac at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 5yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Mac is a stunning Fawn boy looking for his forever home. He’s only 2.5yo and is very playful. He would not be suited to a home with young children (due to him being quite jumpy) neither could he go to a home with small dogs. Lovely nature, he is a little pully on the lead but as he acts like a big daft pup this can be worked on.
Wolfie

Wolfie at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Wolfie has been in a home for over 3 months but unfortunately he has had to come back to us to once again look for his forever home. He is a loving playful boy who will make a fantastic pet. There was no issue with him when he was in the home but it was decided for the best that he came back into our care.
