VINNIE

Male

6 years

Vinnie can only be described as a character, full of mischief. He is a bouncy boy, especially when he sees his lead, so an experienced greyhound owner would be preferred. Vinnie has been in a house for 9 months and he was perfect in the house but he can be very hard to handle as he is highly reactive to all other breeds of dog, livestock etc

LEWIS

Male

3 years

Lewis has found himself to be looking for another forever home due to a second altercation with a neighbour's cat. He was in a home for 18 months and we would love to see him settled in a new home very soon. Lewis is a lovely boy who loves people, his routine was upset after lockdown when his owners returned to work and this led him to have some separation anxiety. Ideally Lewis is looking for a home where someone will be around a lot of the time and one with older children (>13).

JACK

Male

3 years

Jack was recently returned to us after a short spell in a home. He is a young, strong boy who would benefit from an experienced, adult only home. Jack is quite wary of people he doesn't know and his reaction is to bark so he needs someone who understands this and that can help him to overcome this. He is a lovely boy and he will flourish in the right home so please don't be put off by his needs.

DOC

Male

5 years

Doc has found himself looking for a new forever home after he was returned through no fault of his own. Doc can be quite protective with his toys and food so he would not be suitable to live with children and he would be best as an only dog but don't let that put you off as he is a lovely boy who just wants to be loved.

LADY

Female

4 years

Lady is a small friendly girl who gets on well with other greyhounds. She can pull quite a bit on the lead at first but she simply likes to be at the front. She has met lots of dogs at the park and she seems keen to play so I think, with careful introductions, she could be homed with other breeds.

BONNIE

Female

2 years

Bonnie is a stunning young girl. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people but she soon comes round and her sweet, affectionate nature shines through. She recently stayed overnight in my house after her spay and she was spotless and slept the whole night. On a recent walk around Drumpellier park, she met all breeds and didn't react to anything. She walks well on the lead too so she is practically perfect in every way.

Bonnie likes her own space and doesn't like to be disturbed when in her 'safe' space so an adult only home will only be considered.

PUMA

Male

4 years

Puma is a really nice boy and deserves his sofa. Puma can be a little high maintenance in the kennel however there is a lot going on in the kennel and we feel he would be different in a home environment. He likes a bounce if you walk past his kennel in fact so much he can almost reach the ceiling. His ideal environment would likely be as an only dog or with a laid back female. As we know he likes a bounce any garden would need to be fully enclosed with a suitably secured fence. Please don’t let this put you off Puma as he definitely deserves his chance in a home.

HOPEY

Male

4 years

Hopey is a lovely friendly boy and he is smaller than the average male. He walks well on the lead and only reacts to off lead dogs and this is something we are working on.
