Cassie is looking for an owner who can keep her company for some of the day whilst she settles in. She would like easy access outdoors for exploring when the mood takes her. She cannot live with a dog but may be able to live with another cat and children.
Cassie is a very sweet, confident girl who likes getting attention from anyone who will give her it. She can be independent at times but is known to come up for cuddles and fussing when the mood takes her. She is an energetic girl whole likes to play and would love to have access to plenty of outdoor space so she can venture out to explore her surroundings. After a day of fun and frolics, she can usually be found curled up in a nice cosy bed.
We are unsure if Cassie has lived with a cat before, but she does not seem to mind the other cats in our cattery. If she was to live with one, her new owner will need to be home most of the time to help slowly introduce them.

“Cooper is such a great dog who really deserves a home to call his own. He’ll make the ideal companion for the hound lovers out there!” Cooper’s kennel mum.
Cooper is looking for an experienced and active owner who have owned hound breeds before and understand their traits. He will need to be kept company all day to begin with and he will benefit going along to training classes to continue working on basic manners. Cooper may be able to live with teenagers but needs to be the only pet.
Cooper is a super friendly, cheeky and lovable goof ball who brings joy to everyone he meets. He can be stubborn when it comes to his training, so he requires an incredibly patient owner who have had experience with hounds before. He is a big, boisterous boy who forgets his size and he can resort to jumping up and grabbing at you if his needs aren’t met so requires plenty of mental and physical stimulation, so he doesn’t become bored or frustrated. He loves using his nose and sniffs out every interesting smell that comes by him so would thoroughly enjoy an activity like scent work or man trailing. Cooper loves his food in all forms, from doggy biscuits to fruit and veg which will be a brilliant motivator when continuing his training.
Cooper has made a load of doggy friends here; he loves playing with them but he doesn’t always realize when his friends have had enough, and he can be persistent so would be better suited as an only pet so his owner can focus on him.
Cooper has received some medical treatment whilst with us. More information will be provided with successful applicants.

Skye is looking for an active owner who are committed to her ongoing training. She will require someone to keep her company for most of the day whilst she settles in. She may be able to live with high school aged children and possibly another dog.
Skye is a friendly, young girl who makes friend’s wherever she goes. She is a whirlwind of fun and excitement and, in true fashion to her breed, loves putting her nose to use sniffing out every interesting smell that she passes. Skye could become bored if her needs aren’t met so she requires an active family who are prepared for the amount of mental and physical stimulation she will require each day.
She is very food motivated which is helping with her ongoing training and her new owner will need to have the time and commitment needed to continue this. Skye enjoys running around with her doggy friends so she may like to live with another dog who matches her energy pending a successful introduction.
Skye has a heart condition. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.

Shy at first, but a superstar in the making!
Rex is a gentle, sensitive soul who is looking for a calm and understanding home. He is very anxious when meeting new people and needs time and patience to settle in. However, once he begins to trust, he shows a clear eagerness to please and responds well to a gentle, reassuring approach. Rex enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from having a calm canine companion to help him build confidence. He is housetrained but has lived outdoors in a kennel, so he will likely need some refresher training. Car travel is relatively new to him but he has shown no hesitation to jump in and out cars while he has been with us. Rex is still learning to walk on a lead and will need continued support with recall and basic training.
History
Rex was handed in for rehoming after showing predatory behaviour towards chickens and being nervous around young children.
Re-homing Criteria
Rex needs a quiet, rural home where he can feel safe and supported. Due to his nervous nature, he can be flighty and has been known to be an escape artist, so a secure garden is essential. He would benefit from living with a confident dog who can offer reassurance and guidance. Although he has lived with cats before, care must be taken around other small animals as he has shown some predatory instincts. As Rex has been nervous around young children, we would only consider homes with teenagers who are able to respect his space and understand his need for a calm environment. Rex needs a patient and experienced owner who can offer consistent, positive training and help him gain confidence at his own pace.
It may take time for Rex to come out of his shell but with the right guidance, Rex has the potential to become the most loyal and loving companion. If you can offer him the calm, quiet, secure home he deserves, please get in touch.

Location: Ayr
Date of Birth: 10th December 2024
Kobi is Tiggy’s last remaining puppy – and he’s grown into quite the handsome boy! The biggest of his litter, Kobi is already larger than his mum and is expected to be large-medium to large in size once fully grown. When Kobi first arrived, he was the most timid of his siblings – shy, nervous, and unsure of the world. Kobi’s Highlights:
1. Friendly and sweet-natured 2. Crate trained and clean in the house 3. A cuddle monster once he knows you 4. Good with people – just needs gentle introductions 5. A bit barky with unfamiliar dogs, but not aggressive, just unsure 6. Hasn’t started lead training yet – but he’s smart and eager to learn
Kobi's Perfect Home:

Meet Fae – A Bright, Bouncy Girl Ready for Her Forever Home!
Location: Ayr
Date of Birth: 10th December 2024
Fae is the last of Freya’s gorgeous girl pups still looking for a home – and she’s an absolute little treasure. One of a litter of 7, Fae was separated from her mum early on, as our rescuers initially couldn’t catch Freya. (Mum is safe now too!) Despite a tough start, Fae has grown into a confident, affectionate, and curious young pup with so much potential. She’s very friendly and has a lovely nature. Fae’s Highlights: • Confident, sweet, and eager to learn • Friendly with people and other dogs • Can live with sensible, dog-savvy children • Will need continued house training and lead work • Would thrive with a secure garden to play and practice her skills • Her sister (already adopted) is doing brilliantly – and we know Fae will too! Meet Boobie – A Brave Little Soul Looking for Love
Location: Ayr
Estimated Age: Around 2 years old
Boobie came into our care after being handed in as a stray – but we strongly suspect she was abandoned by her previous owners. She wasn't microchipped, and after a vet visit (when we thought she might be pregnant), we discovered she was going through a phantom pregnancy following a recent season. We believe this may be why she was heartlessly given up. She shows signs of having been a working dog – with the classic bald patches on her ears and nose – but despite whatever past she’s had, Boobie has nothing but love to give. Boobie’s Personality & Progress: 1. Possibly a red Patterdale or Patterdale cross 2. Sweet-natured, affectionate, and a bit giddy 3. Loves a fuss and will happily clamber onto your lap 4. Doesn't love being picked up or heavily handled just yet – but is improving every day with gentle encouragement 5. Best suited to a calm, adult-only home that understands her sensitivities 6. Crate trained and working on housetraining (likely never lived indoors before) 7. Enjoys being outside and has no separation anxiety 8. Walks well on a lead (though sometimes a bit enthusiastic!) 9. Likely prey driven, so may need to remain on-lead long term Boobie is still waiting for her vaccinations and microchip as she found her first vet visit quite stressful – but don’t worry, this will all be completed before she goes to her forever home. What Boobie Needs: 1. A home without children 2. A patient, understanding adopter who can help her continue adjusting to home life 3. A secure garden for safe outdoor time (or lots of on-lead adventures) 4. Someone who’ll offer her consistency, kindness, and all the cuddles she adores Boobie is a special little girl with a lot of love to give. She just needs someone to believe in her and show her that she's safe, wanted, and home at last.

Meet Tiggy – A Little Dog with a Big Heart
Location: Ayr
Date of Birth: 5th October 2023
Tiggy’s story starts in the most heartbreaking of ways – but she hasn’t let that dim her sparkle. One dark night, our rescuer’s husband spotted her frantically running in circles on a remote track – clearly terrified and confused. Her tiny puppies were scattered across the road, darting around in panic. It took him an hour to gather them all to safety… but Tiggy, brave as she was, was too frightened to let anyone near. Thankfully, our rescuer returned and gently coaxed Tiggy to safety. Since then, she’s been living with the rescuer as her puppies grew and then travelled to our rescue in Ayr– and she has turned out to be an absolute delight. Tiggy in a nutshell: • Smaller side of medium • Super friendly and loves everyone she meets • Incredibly cuddly, gentle, and affectionate • Crate trained and clean in the house • Great with both men and women • Good with older children • Just starting her lead training – and doing brilliantly! • No bad habits – just a pure-hearted little soul looking for love Important to know: Tiggy is a bit of an escape artist – not to run away, but because she always wants to be close to her people. For this reason, she’ll need: A very secure home and garden (if there is one)
To be kept on a lead when outside
To never be left unattended outdoors
Or a home without a garden, where walks happen on-lead only She’s incredibly sweet, smart, and eager to please – and would thrive in many different kinds of homes where she’s included as part of the family

Home Requirements
An experienced owner
A home with garden
Kayla is looking for an experienced German shepherd owner who are committed to working on her training. She will need to be kept company all day to begin with and requires her own private garden, so she has a safe space to decompress. She needs to be the only pet in an adult only home.
Kayla is truly a sweet girl who sadly has not seen much of the world so she can find new situations overwhelming. She can be vocal towards people and dogs she doesn’t know at first but, if introduced properly, soon realises that there is nothing to be worried about. She requires a committed owner who will work on her socialisation skills and gradually build her confidence.
Kayla adores the people she knows and trusts but can become attached quite quickly so she can find it hard being left on her own. She can be very affectionate, loves her toys, is full of fun and would thrive with an active owner who are keen on doing different activities with her.
All Kayla wants to do is please her people; she is extremely clever and loves a tasty treat so is highly trainable. Our team are already seeing big improvements with her training so, in a home, she is sure to flourish into a fantastic dog.

Can live with
Children
Morag is looking for an owner who can continue to work on her basic manners and keep her company for some of the day. She is looking to be the only pet in her new home but may be able to live with high school aged children.
Morag is an extremely friendly girl who will bring a lot of joy to her new family’s life. She loves human attention and will happily roll over for some belly rubs or jump up beside you for cuddles. She is a whirlwind of fun and loves to run around chasing a tennis ball, particularly if it squeaks! She would be a brilliant walking buddy for an owner who is keen to get out and about and explore different places.
Morag’s enthusiasm for life does mean she can get a bit carried away at times and becomes quite boisterous so her new owner will need to work on this, but she is a clever girl who aims to please, especially when there is food on offer. She can become frustrated at times when she sees other dogs but does have the ability to make doggy friends if introduced properly.

Breed: Molly
Sex: Female
Age: around 8 years
Key information: Beautiful friendly girl, loves people, can live with children over the age of 14 years old and needs to be the only pet in the home.
Molly is a sweet and sensitive girl who can be a little shy when you first meet her but once you make friends she wont want to leave your side. She loves her food and still like to play with a ball, although the pace is not what it used to be.
Molly arrived as a stray so we don’t have any history on her background, however what we can tell you is she is an amazing girl who makes you smile almost immediately. She appears to be house-trained and likes her home comforts. We don’t think Molly is used to traveling as she can seem a bit overwhelmed and vocal in the car.
Molly may not be too familiar with the world and may have previously lived on a farm so she will need new owners who can let her build confidence around walking in new areas. She prefers quiet places where she can take her time sniffing and exploring at her own pace.
Molly would like her new owners to be at home most of the day to keep her company, she wants to be the only pet in the house so she can have all your attention to herself, she loves a cuddle and will happily snuggle in for hours if you let her. She enjoys the garden and will happily find a sunspot and soak up some sunshine.
Molly has some muscle wastage in her back legs and needs to work on her fitness, to make her more comfortable she is currently on the supplement You Move daily.
if you think you could offer Molly a home please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

From Stray to Soulmate, Polly is ready to steal your heart!
Polly is a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who arrived with us as a stray, so we don’t have any background information about her past. What’s immediately clear, though, is just how affectionate and people-focused she is. She loves meeting new faces and thrives on human interaction. Polly is clean in her kennel, which suggests she may have previously lived in a home and been housetrained. She is not good with other dogs, and we don’t know how she would react around cats or children, though she may be suitable for a home with calm, respectful teenagers.
History
Polly came into the centre as a stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Polly’s rehoming needs are straightforward but important. She will require a secure garden to ensure she can enjoy off-lead time safely, away from other dogs. She must be the only dog in the household. While her suitability for living with children is uncertain, she may do well with older teens who understand how to behave around dogs. Polly is strong on the lead, so her adopter will need to be physically capable of managing her on walks and committed to working on her loose-lead training.
Polly is a lovely, loyal girl who just needs someone to take a chance on her – a perfect match for anyone with a soft spot for staffies!
