Ollie was found tied to a tree and served 7 days in the pound, without being claimed. Ollie was offered a rescue place with us and travelled to us early May.
Ollie is currently in kennels in West Lothian area.
Ollie is such a lovely and friendly boy, he has only been with us a short time but has came across as a laidback and chilled boy.
Ollie is playful and loves playing with toys like rope toys, balls ect! We feel he would be good at agility, scentwork and he loves being in the field on a secure line, he would suit an active home who would give him mental/physical stimulation.
Ollie tested really well in the pound with numerous dogs and hasn't shown any adverse reactions, he is fine coming out of kennels and will stop to sniff dogs and walk away.
Ollie knows basic commands like sit and takes treats very nicely, Ollie is still young and will benefit from attending training classes.
Ollie when over excited can hump, this is being worked on and he takes direction well with this.
Ollie is in good health, he is neutered, chipped and vaccinated, although is quite slim so we are working on putting weight on him.
Ollie walks really well on the lead and has no issues putting collar/lead on, he loves being in the field on his long line having a good sniff and exploring.
TBC
A secure garden would be a plus.
Could live with another dog, pending intros.
Committed to ongoing training and socialisation.

A home with garden
Lady and Ozzy are looking for a home together with someone who have had terriers before. They would like access to their own private garden so that they have their own space to decompress from the outside world. They are looking to be the only pets in an adult only home.
Lady and Ozzy are a lovely mother, son duo who have very sweet natures and are sure to make wonderful additions to their new family. Lady is the shyer one of the two when it comes to meeting new people but, with time, she does come around and they both enjoy a cuddle beside their favourite people. They enjoy each other’s company but can be vocal towards other dogs and, Ozzy in particular, does become easily overwhelmed. They will require an understanding owner who have the time and patience needed to help the two of them settle into their new home and allow them to decompress.
Even though they are older, they thoroughly enjoy their walks in quiet areas where they can relax and sniff out every interesting smell that passes by them. They enjoy getting their paws wet in the water or rolling around on their backs for a good scratch. They are both partial to a treat however, Lady has been on a diet so her owners will need to be mindful about keeping her waistline trim!

Ralph is looking for an experienced dachshund owner who are used to a small dog with a spicy personality. He will require access to his own private garden, so he has a safe space of his own to enjoy. He needs to be in an adult only, quiet home and is looking to be the only pet.
Ralph may be small but, in typical dachshund style, he can be spicy and knows what he does and doesn’t like so will greatly benefit from a confident owner who can manage his behaviour. He is a nervous boy who lacks in confidence in most situations, including when meeting new people and requires a patient, understanding owner who will allow him to take things at his own pace. His new owner will need to be fully committed to his ongoing training and recognise that he will push the boundaries whilst he settles into his new home.
Ralph is affectionate with his favourite people and he enjoys his walks or running around playing with his soft toys. He is okay with other dogs but will have to be the only pet in the home so his owner can focus on him.
Ralph has had veterinary treatment. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.

A very lovable chap who loves a fuss.
Ernie is a real sweetheart! He is a happy, friendly guy who is great fun to be around. He enjoys the company of other dogs and as found a best friend here at the centre who he shares his space with (Santino the Lurcher).
Ernie loves being out and about and really enjoys company. He is looking for love, cuddles, adventures and a place to call his own. Due to his typical breed traits we are looking for a home without cats/ small furry animals around. This handsome lad would LOVE a canine friend to share his life with so another dog in the home is a must - however they would need to match his playful energy!
History
Ernie came to us as an unclaimed stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Ernie is a fantastic young lad who has such a lust for life! He is at his happiest while he is enjoying his zoomies in our paddock. His new home will need to have a fully secure garden so he has somewhere to carry on this favourite pastime of his! Ernie was a stray so we sadly do not have any background on how he would be with young children or cats , so we would be looking for a home without either of these. Ernie loves company - he would be looking for a family with someone around most of the time and an already established dog as he thrives with his canine friends here.
If you have space for a super fun loving dog in your life, Ernie could be your one!

Fantastic Fynn!
This handsome boy loves nothing more than a fuss! Fynn is full of life and has a real cheeky personlaity. He hasn't been with us long but we are all completely in love with him already. Fynn is a typical, daft, loving, playful lab who will make a fantastic pet.
He loves being out and about and seems happy around other dogs here at the centre. His previous owners said he was housetrained and got on well with two young children who visited. We are unsure how he would react to cats.
History
This handsome chap has been with the same home since he was 3 months old. He is now looking for a home that can meet his needs with both exercise and mental stimulation.
Re-homing Criteria
Fynn is looking for an active life. He loves the great outdoors so will need an owner who wants to join him on walks and adventures.
He is a friendly boy who likes meeting new people and could happiky live with another dog if the match was right. We can't say for sure if he would be happy around cats.
Fynn does have his basic commands but his recall could do with a little work - due to this a home with a secure garden would be ideal.

Full of terrier spirit, just at a gentler pace!
Myah is a sweet-natured Jack Russell Terrier with a big heart and a love for people. She enjoys her walks, preferring a gentle potter rather than anything too energetic, and is happiest when she’s in good company. Myah is housetrained, travels well in the car, and is content being left alone for a few hours. She's had positive experiences meeting children and thrives on human interaction. When it comes to other dogs, she's a bit hit or miss—some she likes, some she doesn’t—so careful introductions are a must. Myah hasn’t lived with cats before, so we don’t know how she would react in a home with them.
History
Myah was handed into the centre for rehoming due to a change in circumstances.
Re-homing Criteria
Myah would suit a quiet, calm home where she can enjoy her golden years at her own pace. While she may be able to live with another dog following successful introductions at the centre, she would likely be happiest in a home without too much hustle and bustle. Due to her age, we would prefer a home without very young children. We would be looking for a home with a fully secure garden for this lady so she has a completely safe space to enjoy pottering outdoors. As Myah adores human company a home where someone is around most of the day would be ideal ! This lady would make someone a loyal and affectionate addition to the right home.

Fabulous Flynn!
Meet Flynn — a happy, energetic boy who is every inch the classic spaniel! Always smiling and full of enthusiasm, Flynn loves people and is guaranteed to brighten your day.
He’s a very active lad who thrives on getting outdoors and loves nothing more than heading out for long adventures. Flynn was house-trained in his previous home and keeps his kennel clean here. As well as physical exercise, Flynn needs plenty of mental stimulation to keep his sharp mind occupied.
History
Flynn was originally rehomed from us but was sadly returned due to behavioural challenges in the home.
Re-homing Criteria
Flynn has been assessed by a behaviourist, and his new family must be willing to follow a guidance plan that will be provided. Flynn uses toys to soothe his anxiety and should always have access to safe toys in the home. It is very important that toys or items are never forcibly taken from him. A calm, gentle approach to handling is essential to help Flynn feel safe and supported, and to prevent any anxiety-related behaviours.
Flynn is looking for a calm, patient, and experienced home. Ideally, his new family will have experience with working spaniels or high-energy breeds. Flynn would need a secure garden where he can safely explore and play. He could live with another friendly dog after successful introductions at the centre. We do not know how Flynn would respond to cats. Due to his behavioural needs, we are looking for a child-free home.
Flynn needs stability, patience, and understanding to continue building his confidence. His ideal home will be quiet, structured, and filled with love. Flynn is a wonderful, clever, and affectionate dog who is ready for his second chance — could that be with you?

All energy, all love – Jack’s the full package!
Jack is a high-energy Border Collie who thrives on activity and stimulation. He has previously lived with older children and teenagers and could happily do so again in the right home. Jack has also lived with cats and can be playful indoors, but he may chase outdoors, so any resident cat would need to be confident and dog-savvy. On the lead, Jack can be reactive to other dogs, but he has enjoyed positive off-lead interactions with dogs at the centre. He is housetrained, travels well in the car, and is comfortable being left alone for a few hours.
History
Jack was handed into the centre due to a change in his owners’ circumstances.
Re-homing Criteria
Jack can be nervous when meeting new people, particularly men, and will need a calm, patient owner willing to take the time to build his confidence. He could live with older children or teens, a confident, dog-savvy cat, and possibly another friendly dog with careful introductions. Jack requires an active, breed-experienced home—ideally with someone who enjoys hiking, agility, or flyball. A secure garden is essential, as he tends to chase when off-lead and still needs work on his recall.
His new family must be committed to supporting him with his lead reactivity and helping him feel more at ease around strangers.
Jack has so much potential – he just needs the right person to help him shine!

Shy at first, but a superstar in the making!
Rex is a gentle, sensitive soul who is looking for a calm and understanding home. He is very anxious when meeting new people and needs time and patience to settle in. However, once he begins to trust, he shows a clear eagerness to please and responds well to a gentle, reassuring approach. Rex enjoys the company of other dogs and may benefit from having a calm canine companion to help him build confidence. He is housetrained but has lived outdoors in a kennel, so he will likely need some refresher training. Car travel is new to him, but he coped well in a crate on his trip to the vet. Rex is still learning to walk on a lead and will need continued support with recall and basic training.
History
Rex was handed in for rehoming after showing predatory behaviour towards chickens and being nervous around young children.
Re-homing Criteria
Rex needs a quiet, rural home where he can feel safe and supported. Due to his nervous nature, he can be flighty and has been known to be an escape artist, so a secure garden is essential. He may benefit from living with an older, confident dog who can offer reassurance and guidance. Although he has lived with cats before, care must be taken around other small animals as he has shown some predatory instincts. As Rex has been nervous around young children, we would only consider homes with teenagers who are able to respect his space and understand his need for a calm environment. Rex needs a patient and experienced owner who can offer consistent, positive training and help him gain confidence at his own pace.
It may take time for Rex to come out of his shell but with the right guidance, Rex has the potential to become the most loyal and loving companion. If you can offer him the calm, quiet, secure home he deserves, please get in touch.

Kevin is 9 years old and is looking for an indoor home.
Kevin had quite a difficult start in life - he has been through a couple of homes and the recent unfortunate circumstances of his last home meant he had to come into the shelter.
Kevin loves company - he enjoys being petted, brushed and played with. He would love to be in a home where people can spend a lot of time with him. We think he would be best suited as the only pet with no children.
Kevin has had some stress cystitis in the past, but thankfully this has been well controlled with diet so far.

OLIVER
Male
6 years
Oliver has sadly been returned to our care, after almost 4 years in a home, through absolutely no fault of his own (change of circumstances).
He is 6 years old, quite small for a boy and is a friendly, happy boy. Ideally we want his stay in kennels to be as short as possible as he has been used to his home comforts.
Oliver is fine with other greyhounds and is trainable to be around other breeds.
He really deserves another chance.
