Ned at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Young Ned is doing well in foster, he is fully housetrained and gets on well with all breeds. He doesn't like cats or small furries. Ned's foster Dad said he can be nervous in new situations and doesn't like when there's lots going on around him. We feel that Ned would benefit from the company of another dog and in a relatively quiet area. Ned is almost 2 and would love his forever home 🏡.

Diva at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Diva arrived with Patsy but despite her name she is anything but a Diva. She is just perfect and you wouldn't know that she is in the kennel. So there must be someone out there looking for their very own Diva...

Emma at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Sometimes greyhounds make it easy for themselves to find homes and we believe that Emma is one of these cases. She is booked in to be spayed shortly. Nothing has fazed this girl since arriving with us. Walks lovely on a lead, really happy and affectionate girl so what more can you ask for ?

Barry at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 3yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

3yo Barry is looking out for his forever home. Barry does in the whole have a good nature and can be homed with other greyhounds but he is very protective of his food and care needs to be taken when feeding. He is very reactive to small dogs so would therefore be unsuitable to live with them. Barry would suit an environment with someone who has sighthound experience.

Hammy at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Let us introduce Hammy the tripod. He successfully went through his amputation last week and has been given a clean bill of health by a vet yesterday. We would love to get this boy into a foster home ASAP. He is currently still with his trainer but we are keen to get him out of kennels to aid in his recovery.

Tam at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Tam is a 5 y.o male. He is very, very loving and affectionate and has been doing very well in his foster home. He is house trained and neutered. He loves to play with people and his soft toys. He would be too playful for a home with babies or very young children though but has proven great with kids aged 8 and above. Photos don't do Tam justice, you really need to see him and meet him in person. He always looks like he is smiling too which makes him even easier to fall in love with. And he just loves being cuddled.
