Barry at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 3yo

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

3yo Barry is looking out for his forever home. Barry does in the whole have a good nature and can be homed with other greyhounds but he is very protective of his food and care needs to be taken when feeding. He is very reactive to small dogs so would therefore be unsuitable to live with them. Barry would suit an environment with someone who has sighthound experience.

Cliff at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound who is age 3yo

Cliff is a 3yo boy looking for his forever home. So far he has been fine with his kennel mate, he also didn't react to anything that he seen on Sunday. He can be a bit pully at times on the lead. He can also be a little wary of new situations until he gets used to them but overall he's a very friendly boy.

Burkey at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male blue Greyhound

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

Burkey is on the lookout for his forever home. He will celebrate his 4th birthday in November and hoping to do so on his forever sofa. Burkey gets on OK with other female greyhounds. For some reason he is reactive to blue greyhounds (and they say dogs are colour blind). He is a happy lad who suffers from waggy tail injury other words known as burst tail due to him wagging it so much. Does Burkey sound the boy for you ?

Boots at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

2year old Boots is looking for her forever home. She gets on with other greyhounds but is reactive to other breeds. But it must be said with her being just a baby her head is full of carry on and this shouldn't be mistaken for aggression she only wants to play. She can get a bit rough during playtime so she could go with children but we would only suggest older children. Her ideal family would be a family looking to spend a bit of time showing Boots the ropes and also a family who is a bit more active as she has loads of energy to use. She has spent a bit of time in a house and the feedback we got was she was clean and loved to wander in and out an unlocked crate.

Charlie at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Male Greyhound

Mad Charlie who is in foster would love his permanent forever sofa. He currently lives with a lurcher and 2 other greyhounds. He gets on really well with them. Charlie isn’t so good with small dogs but is fine with mid to large dogs. He regularly meets labradors on his walks and has no issues with them. Charlie would be fine with older kids as he likes his mad half hour.

Wee update on our foster boy Bert. He survived the festive period which included being left for a couple of hours while we had our festive dinners at relatives, and he was fine. Very contented in his crate with a pig ear!! Also visited Sean’s mum and he was fine once he settled and he even went over to say hello before we left, so that was good progress. Still anxious with strangers but if left until he wants to get your attention he is grand. Total sofa hogger so whoever decides to give this boy a forever home better have an extra seat!!

Dolly at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

This lovely girl unfortunately has had to come back to us after spending 3 months in a home. Dolly is such a friendly happy girl, you would not know she was around. The reason for return is not her fault so please don’t let the fact she has had to come back put you off considering this girl as a companion. She would be just as happy as an only girl as she would be living with other mid to large sized dogs.

Hi my name is Billy and I’m only 3.5 years old and I was wondering if anyone could offer me my forever home. I love being with humans and also I would love for someone to be able to take me lots of walks. I do pull quite a bit on the lead so would like to live with someone who knows about me and can spend time with me to help me adapt to home life. So if anyone out there can spend time with me to help me to adapt I promise that I will in return give you plenty of cuddles and loving. It may take a while but I promise I will try very hard. Thanks for looking and hope to hear from someone soon.

This stunning girl is still looking for her forever home. Chloe is a very playful girl who loves you to give her attention. She gets on great with other greyhounds, would comfortably slot into family life with children so what more could you ask ? So if Chloe sounds perfect for you please get in touch.

Belle at West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust

A Female Greyhound

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: Various locations in and around Glasgow

This very special girl would so love to find the perfect home for her. Belle is just a playful girl that has endless energy. She does everything at 100mph and that includes jumping up at you for cuddles. As you can probably tell it’s not easy to get photos of her. Belle has had a couple of attempts at a forever home but unfortunately she does suffer from bad separation issues although she is getting better. She gets on with absolutely anything and is bomb proof but really needs human company around most of the time. Does someone have a space in their home for Belle?
