Macadam Macadam

Macadam at Edinburgh Cat Protection League

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: 3 Casselbank Street Edinburgh Midlothian EH6 5HA

Macadam is 6 years old and looking for an indoor only home. Macadam has been diagnosed as positive for FeLV (feline leukaemia virus). There is no cure for FeLV. Cats such as Macadam who are positive for FeLV are immunosuppressed so must stay indoors (and to avoid spreading it to other cats). Macadam's new home would need to understand that this is a 'when' scenario, not an 'if' and the disease will progress. We have attached information from iCatCare and Cornell university

If you would like to make an appointment to Macadam, please phone us on 0131 554 5521 . Our opening hours are:

Monday, Wednesday - Friday 10am - 5pm
Tuesday 10am - 3pm
Saturday 10am - 4pm
