Bertie came to us as a stray and we have limited information on him, we will be looking for patient owners who have time to settle him in and continue with his basic training. He doesn't like being fussed over so would be best suited to an adult home with owners who will give him time to settle.

Blue is a 2 year old Lurcher. He is a typical lurcher that loves to run and bound around. He enjoys playing with all types of toys but his favourite is a soft teddy. He is a sweet boy that is affectionate and gentle with the people he knows and has built up trust with.

Type of home needed

Blue will need patient owners who are around most of the day to continue with further training. He is a sensitive boy who does finds lots of fuss overwhelming and can be wary of you intentions at times, therefore he needs an experienced home who are used to nervy dogs who can give him his own space to relax when he needs it.

Blue needs an adult only home where everyone is over the age of 18 years old. He would love a garden he can explore in and have a good run around in, with his toys. Blue would be best as an only pet - no cats.

Once he gets to know you he enjoys getting a gentle pet or scratches behind his ear. Theo is very uncomfortable around children so will need an adult only home. Alfie does enjoy attention and interaction with his owner, although he is an independant boy who is not a lapdog. Tess is a very special dog who needs a very special home. She is amazing, affectionate, fun loving and water daft! Tess has lived in a loving home all of her life and loves to be around people. She is cuddly and adores playing with all sorts of toys. She has the very busy mind of a collie and does need to have something to do to kep her busy mind active. This would be easier if Tess was not was not frightened of things outside, in particular certain loud noises but most of all the sight and sound of any vehicle. She needs her own quiet garden with no noises in the immediate surrounds and definitely no vehicle sounds nearby. She would be ideal to roam a large garden and would love to have water to play in as this is her most favourite thing in the universe! But beware - she does get muddy.

Tess can entertain herself if not kept busy and is a wonderful dog for those who are willing to work around her ways. She loves a cuddle, loves to join in looking for things, loves tug and fetch and also having a quiet pet, half on your knee. She does take a long time to trust people fully and can still be worried by fast moving hands and noises if they catch her attention. She would benefit from her own chill out area in the house.
