Likes and dislikes: Comet is a super dog who loves to explore on his walks, he likes to have a good root around in the long grass and sniff all the interesting smells. He's an intelligent boy who knows most of his basic commands and will happily show off in exchange for a few tasty biscuits. Comet is a gentle, shy guy who needs a little time to get to know you. He is a sensitive wee fellow who needs help to build his confidence.

Type of home needed: Comet would prefer a quiet home where he can relax and get to know his new owners slowly. Comet was originally a stray so needs a secure garden with people who have had dogs before. Comet has so much potential and just needs a family who can help him realise it.

Bertie is a 2 year old crossbreed. Bertie is a bouncy and active boy. He is a very energetic boy who enjoys going for long walks and splashing around puddles. He likes games where he can search for toys in the long grass.

Bertie came to us as a stray and we have limited information on him, we will be looking for patient owners who have time to settle him in and continue with his basic training. He doesn't like being fussed over so would be best suited to an adult home with owners who will give him time to settle.

Holly arrived with us a stray dog originally but has been in our Home From Home scheme where we have found out she is house-trained, happy to travel to in the car and has been left for short periods. Bailey loves playing fetch with his ball and he will happily play for hours. He enjoys lots of long walks in quiet areas where he can explore things at his leisure.

Bailey can be mistrustful and worried by people and is looking for a quiet home with new owners who know and love the Border Collie Breed. He will need owners who are able to allow him to settle into the home and give him his own space as he does become defenisve of himself when feeling insecure. Phoenix is looking for an active home with owners who have had dogs before. He would need a very secure garden with at least 6ft fencing. Phoenix can be very excitable at times and does need to learn some self control in certain situations. An owner who has lots of patience and who would enjoy training him would be ideal. Phoenix does chase sheep so does need to live in areas where there are no livestock.
